Take a tour of the Expedition Bunkie from our Canadian Coastal Collection. Have you ever wondered how our bunkies are finished inside? We take great care in choosing the finishing products when we complete the interior. When you begin the process of designing your very own Bunkie, the possibilities are endless. We will build them to suit your needs as well as what your vision is for both the interior and exterior. In the meantime, let me walk you through the Bunkie that we have on our premises.
The exterior sets the tone for this fine-looking Bunkie. Wrapped in wooden board and batten boards, installed in a horizontal configuration conveying an inviting welcome. The wooden siding, we chose is called Maibec, it’s a luxury product out of Quebec and is far superior to so many products out there on the market. It can also be painted in any Benjamin Moore paint color and also has standard factory colors to choose from. Soffit and fascia finish off the exterior.
From top to bottom, we’ve added architectural shingles for the roof as well as pressure treated decking. Elegant coach light fixtures with seeded glass were installed for both function and style. Other options for the exterior are solar panels and steel roof.
The Expedition is well appointed, and built with great attention to detail. Housing both a queen bed and a custom single loft bed, it will give your family and friends a comfortable spot to rest and recharge while they are visiting.
Having the design foresight to leave enough room for a night stand or for extra storage between the bed and the wall, your guests will be sure to appreciate this small but important detail. Along with your custom loft, we built a tailor-made and safe ladder for your guests to slide up into their dreamy bed.
We decided on a rustic flooring option that is both durable and comfortable on your feet. Decorated in floor to ceiling barn board giving this small but luxurious space a warm and cozy feel. Our bunkies are a three-season extension of your home, the walls and ceiling are insulated as well as the floors. The four-season option is an upgrade, which we can accommodate according to your needs.
This model has two large custom windows, as well as a siding screen patio door. Allowing sunlight to pour into your miniature oasis. We also installed a functional yet beautiful ceiling fan in a wood finish. The décor accents you choose has endless options, from rustic to glamorous to coastal.
With the warm neutral wooden materials and tones, we chose, you can really express your character and style. All our bunkies in the Canadian Coastal Collection, including the Expedition can be customized.
